News from the Primary Coordinator

What a busy term it has been! Beginning with the Year 5/6 students heading off to Phillip Island Adventure Resort, it has been a very busy time for all students and parents with also the upcoming Annual concert.

All students have been busily preparing for their concert with the lower classes who will be performing on Friday the 7th of September and the upper students will have an opportunity to perform on Tuesday 4th of September. Tickets will soon be available to parents with all details.

This week we also have Book Week which involved the students taking part in a highly engaging musical performance. Not only was it lots of fun but very educational for students touching on inclusion, tolerance and getting along with others. We also have our Book Swap and Character Parade in stall which I am looking very forward to and can’t wait to see all of the students and teachers come dressed as their favourite characters.

Friday the 17th of August is the big day of Eid festivities which will take place at our school. The Eid Festival is not only for student’s but families are more than welcome to attend too. There will be lot’s of delicious foods and fun rides for the kids.

A reminder to all families that during EID, on Tuesday the 21st of August and Wednesday the 22nd of August there will be no school for students.

I wish all families who celebrate Eid a Happy Eid with their loved ones!
